  Our Meetings

Our DPRA meetings are incredibly informal and easy going, they are the perfect for like minded people  to get together, have a drink and share tips, advices, anicdotes over a glass or two of wine.

We meet every Tuesday night at 730pm  at the Littlefield Inn Hotel, at  2600 Hall Avenue, and each meeting lasts for approximately 2 hours.

There is a set forumla to the evenings however don't let this put you off, it breaks the night up and provokes talking points for our guests.

You can expect about 60 people to attend a week, and about 40 of those come most weeks, which shows you the quality of the meetings we offer.

What happens on the night?

 

Most people arrive at 730pm sharp as we pop open a botle of bubbly and set the night rolling, you are welcome to as many glasses of the fizzy stuff as you like, it's included in your entry fee (all of which goes back into running the evenings).

At about 8pm the Champagne is put away  (although of course you can keep the glass you are drinking throughout the meeting) and we meet as a group for about 30 minutes.

This is a fantastic oppurtunity to aler the group if you or your company are looking for staff, if you are looking to change jobs or simply if you have a piece of news you wish to draw to the attention of the group.
  The chair of the association then suggests and debates some ideas relevant to our industry for fifteen minutes before we break away and the rest of the evening is for you.

A small group usually forms in the room to continue the discussion, however you are more then welcome to break free and have your own discussions.

The bar is also open for the rest of the evening, selling a range of hot and cold, soft and alcoholic drinks.

How can I get in the meetings?

We do not ask for any additional money for coming to the meetings, you simply show you are a paid up member at the door and you can come as little or as often as you like.
