The Dallas Public Relations Associan is the perfect group for any PR Professionals looked to spend some time with like-minded people online and in-person at our weekly networking event.

The DPRA was set up in 1999 by Jimmy Smithson and Marcus Sweep as a way of PR people in the area to get together via online forums and group meetings.
 

We originally started off with about 10 members, and the in person meets were held monthly, now we run a session weekly and regularly see about sixty members a week attend.

We welcome anyone from any field of PR be it online, magazine or product PR and at any level, you can be in your first week of working in the industry or a seasoned pro running their own company.

The DPRA also try and connect people for employment purposes as re run a dedicated job search programme, allowing members to quickly and easily connect and share work and contacts.
